Many pet parents have dinnertime routines with their dogs that include praying before eating. @tooblessedtobehave and her dog also say grace before she allows the dog to eat, and it’s always cute to see how patient these pups are as they wait to hear the “a” word.

Listen in as she says her prayer because the whole thing is too funny. To the pup, it must sound like the teacher in the Snoopy cartoons when Mom talks. The second he hears “amen,” though, it’s time to eat!

He’s the goodest boy and so patient! He didn’t even look at the food as he waited; he kept eye contact with Mom the whole time. He deserves a treat for keeping his composure!

Viewers Are Impressed He Waited Through the Entire Prayer

Viewers got a kick out of watching the dog wait for his mom to finish her very long prayer. One commenter shared, “He said if you don’t hurry up… lol!” We laughed when @Val added, “Lord, please don’t let my dog starve to death while he’s waiting for this prayer to be over! lol!”

@Dsw Wright joked, “I said Amen for him 10 times…” @Barbara Hostetler added, “I was anxious and impatient for him, lol!”

@Zulema Flores shared, “He said, ‘Well that was a stretch but ok’…”

Commenter @Proont said, “He sick of you,” and Mom replied, “He is indeed, lol!” @San Diego Cat Mom pointed out, “He did a couple of eye rolls while thinking, hurry up!” Another commenter thought the same thing: “He’s saying ‘Lord, please make her hurry up so I can eat,’ lol!”

That may have been the longest prayer of his life, but at least dinner was waiting at the end!
