"I have been silent for years and have made every effort to keep these matters private," Brooklyn began, going on to say, "I do not want to reconcile with my family" in reference to the feud.

Brooklyn then made a series of claims against his parents and brothers, particularly making allegations about his mother's behavior at his 2022 wedding to Peltz.

"My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped," he alleged. Brooklyn claimed that his mother, who launched her fashion brand in 2008, told the couple that she would make Peltz's wedding gown, but canceled "in the eleventh hour," forcing a last-minute alteration to plans on their wedding day.

Brooklyn also alleged that his parents "repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name." After he held out, "they have never treated me the same since." Brooklyn claimed that David and Victoria even "went so far as to call me 'evil'" for seating his grandmother, Sandra, and Peltz's grandmother at their wedding table, while his parents sat at their own table.

He finally alleged that Victoria "hijacked" his first dance with Peltz, and "danced very inappropriately" on him in front of their 500 guests while singer Marc Anthony serenaded the crowd.

Many have speculated on a rift in the family since 2022, when fans noticed that Peltzdidn't wearone of Victoria's designs at the wedding. Brooklyn wasno longer following his parentson Instagram as of December, and, at the end of 2025, Davidleft Brooklyn outof his year-end recap post.

"I've tried to do the same with my children, to educate them," he said, shortly after Brooklyn blasted his parents online. "They make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes. That's how they learn. That's what I try to teach my kids, but, you know, you have to sometimes let them make those mistakes as well."
