Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson and Barry Keoghan were seen recreating a Beatlemania moment in London while filming the upcoming Beatles movies

Paul Mescal,Harris DickinsonandBarry Keoghanare bringing Beatlemania back for theirfour-part biopic on the Beatles.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, Mescal, 30, Dickinson, 29, and Keoghan, 33, were photographed in London filming a scene forThe Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Event.
The actors appeared to be recreating a moments from the group's early career, in which they were greeted by screaming fans every time they stepped out in public.
Actors dressed as police officers can be seen accompanying the actors in costume throughout the shoot, and each of the actors — Mescal isPaul McCartneyand Dickinson isJohn Lennon, while Keoghan andJoseph QuinnportrayRingo StarrandGeorge Harrison— were wearing the signature mop-top haircuts and dark suits the Beatles commonly wore through the first half of the 1960s.

The new look at the set of directorSam Mendes' Beatles movies comes after Sony Pictures released thefirst official images of the lead actors in characteras McCartney, now 83, Lennon, who died at 40 in 1980, Harrison, who died at 58 in 2001, and Starr, 85.
Sony firstconfirmedMescal, Dickinson, Keoghan and Quinn's casting during a presentation at CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas.
The images from the movies released on Jan. 31 show Mescal in character as McCartney in the group's earlier years, while the other three actors were photographed in character with longer hair, facial hair and clothing associated with the end of the band's run in the late '60s.

Oscar-winner Mendes first announced he was working on four intertwining Beatles movies in February 2024.
At that time, a press release said the project marks the first time The Beatles and Apple Corps Ltd. have granted the rights to their life stories and music for a feature film.
The four movies will also feature Saorsie Ronan as McCartney's first wife Linda, Mia McKenna Bruce as Ringo's wife Maureen Starkey, Aimee Lou Wood as Harrison's first wife Pattie Boyd, and Anna Sawai as Lennon's second wife Yoko Ono.
James Norton will portray the group's manager Brian Epstein, with Harry Lloyd as their producer George Martin.
The Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Eventis in theaters in April 2028.
