"MELANIA, the Movie, is a MUST WATCH," Trump wrote in a Jan. 26poston X. "Get your tickets today – Selling out, FAST!"
The film chronicles the 20 days leading up toDonald Trump's 2025 inauguration through the eyes of the first lady as she readies to transition her family back into theWhite House, according to Amazon, which will release the film. The documentary will be the debut project from the first lady's new film production company,Muse Films, which she announced via social media in November.

It wasdirected by Brett Ratner, a movie maker known for the "Rush Hour" franchise, who faced sexual assault allegations in 2017. No criminal charges were filed against him.

The film will be available to stream on Amazon Prime the same day as its theatrical release on Jan. 30. Trump included a link in his social media post to purchase tickets for showings at participating theatres.
Ahigh-profile premiereis slated to take place the day before the public release at the newly renamed Kennedy Center in Washington, now referred to as the Trump-Kennedy Center, on Thursday, Jan. 29. The first lady hosted a private White House screening of the film on Saturday, Jan. 24.
